Specsavers wanted to reinforce its expertise in audiology by showcasing its hearing products to more people, in more places, and addressing the concerns that often prevent people from considering a hearing test or hearing aid.
Research highlighted the key barriers: people overestimated the size of hearing aids, doubted their usability and comfort, and worried about their visibility. The campaign aimed to challenge these perceptions, showing how small, discreet and personalised modern hearing aids could be.
Using QR codes and Web-AR technology, the experience allowed users to visualise hearing products in real-life settings – seeing their actual size, colour and how naturally they blend in. This innovative approach helped break down misconceptions and encouraged more people, including those hesitant to address hearing loss, to positively engage with the idea of having a hearing test.
